How to use No Drama Shawarma Dry Rub

As a dry rub
- Coat chicken thighs, drumsticks, lamb or veg evenly in rub
- Leave to marinate for at least 30 minutes
- Grill, roast, air fry or BBQ until cooked through
Works particularly well with
- Chicken shawarma style wraps
- Lamb shoulder or leg traybakes
- Cauliflower steaks and chickpea traybakes
As a wet marinade
- Mix 1–2 spoonfuls of rub with yoghurt, lemon juice and a little oil
- Massage into your chosen meat or veg
- Marinate for a few hours or overnight
- Cook as usual, then slice and serve in flatbreads or bowls

- Is No Drama Shawarma very spicy?
It is medium hot. The focus is on warm, aromatic spices with a decent but manageable chilli kick. - Do I have to use yoghurt?
No. You can simply use it as a dry rub, or mix with oil and lemon juice if you prefer to avoid dairy.
