How to use Jam Rock Jerk Dry Rub

As a dry rub
- Pat meat or fish dry
- Rub Jam Rock Jerk generously over the surface
- Rest for at least 30 minutes before cooking
- Grill, bake or BBQ until cooked through
Works particularly well with
- Chicken legs, thighs and wings
- Pork shoulder, ribs or belly slices
- Firm fish such as salmon or cod
As a wet marinade
- Mix rub with oil, lime juice and a little soy or vinegar
- Massage into meat or veg
- Marinate for several hours or overnight
- Cook slowly, finishing over high heat for charred edges
FAQ
- Is Jam Rock Jerk very spicy?
Yes. It has a strong chilli kick. If you prefer milder heat, use less or mix with a little yoghurt or coconut milk when marinating. - Can I use it on vegetables?
Absolutely. It works very well on cauliflower, sweet potatoes, corn and plant based proteins.
