On this one day course, you'll be shown how to prepare and cook a variety of Mediterranean dishes on BBQ's and outdoor ovens including tagine, paella, kebabs and more. You'll also use freshly picked (where possible) Bumblebee Cottage ingredients to prepare side dishes like Tzatziki, griddled Padrons and zingy salads. We'll teach you how different European and North African countries sometimes have their own slight variation of the same dish, and how you can use fresh herbs and seasoning to really elevate outdoor cooked and smoked foods to the next level.
You'll arrive around 9.30am on the day and after a quick tour and health and safety briefing we'll start by getting you to prepare your lunch which we'll eat outside or under a shelter, dependent on weather. In the afternoon we'll explore some of the lesser known outdoor cookery techniques using apparatus like clay tagines and clay and terracotta pots as well as Turkish skewers and Spanish 'pil pil' sizzle serving pans. The course will finish at around 4.30pm and you'll take home all that you haven't eaten so please bring some storage containers with you so you can impress partners and family when you get home.
