Through a ‘friend of a friend’ we are absolutely thrilled to be able to offer, direct from producer in South Africa, this wonderful, flavoursome Chilli Garlic Oil. The oil perfectly compliments our sauces and dips, and indeed should be used with some of our dips like Chimmi Churri to really improve the taste of the final sauce. We’ve stocked the Chilli Oil from these guys for quite a while, but in 2024, they launched this Chilli Garlic product too.

The reason we love this award winning oil is because it is made from ethically produced rapeseed oil infused with chillies sourced from local communities in the wine province of sunny South Africa. In fact, it’s almost as if Bumblebee Cottage had it’s own Chilli Oil company in South Africa as the taste, and the company ethics, perfectly match ours.

Banhoek Chilli Oil will not burn your tongue or overpower the flavour of your food. It will enhance the taste of any dish with the perfect bite of flavour.

Remember, you only use a few drops of this at a time so a bottle should last you quite a while (producers suggest around 25 servings).
