Thank you for dropping by! Bumblebee Cottage is our home and passion, located a stones throw from the Atlantic Ocean at Delabole, in North Cornwall. This website helps share our experiences of renovating, growing and cooking (mainly over flame). We're not professional builders, gardeners, or cooks...just very enthusiast owners.

We've owned our Cottage, built from stone from the World famous quarry a few hundred metres away since 2014 and have painstakingly restored it, inside and out after it, and the grounds, after it laid dormant for over a decade. In 2021 we were lucky enough to purchase over an acre of land directly behind the Cottage.

Having restored ancient walls, and removed miles of barbed wire, undergrowth and introduced a variety of (sometimes) rare Cornish indigenous Apple trees, we now spend most of our free time, including every weekend and holiday tending to 'the orchard'. We don't use any artificial chemicals inc pesticides on the land.
